Our Approach

One of the aims of developing a mobile application was to improve the customer journey when accessing financial services, avoiding wasted time moving from one place to another, transportation costs, long waits, and paperwork.

That is why Prospery needs to be an accessible and easy-to-use application that aims to help 18-62-year-olds to get access to financial products and services, even for the Base of the Pyramid, a solution to empower and engage employees, being an inclusive application for underbanked people: gig-workers and SME employees.

Using the Flutter framework, we create a financial-digital solution that delivers intuitive front-end design, easy user onboarding, and access to services. Working closely with the Prospery team, we developed an app that brought our client’s vision to life. Using one codebase for both Android and iOS, we cut the development time and save costs significantly.

We did accurate market research to understand the market, create our user personas and choose the best design for the Prospery app. We wanted the UI to be easy to understand and navigate, so we have created our own mobile design system, working agile, ideation and iteration before jumping into a solution.

This is how we regard Prospery app as a part of a brand ecosystem, building the users comfort and confidence in order to create a cohesive experience that feels familiar to the device’s ecosystem, while still reflecting the brand identity, and deliver value to the users faster. With all this in mind, we built a UI kit that included icons, a logo, buttons, colors and typography.

During this phase of the project, we created the sitemap and task flow, to help chart out the hierarchy and structure of the app, and to build out the intended flow of a typical Prospery user. Based on the structure, we sketched out the screens for all of the anticipated user flows. We added the UI into the designs, and further refined some key screens to improve usability and eliminate anything that was not absolutely necessary for users.

Architecture and Design

One of our first initiatives was rebuilding Prospery’s mobile App. Minimizing the need for custom components and development, we allowed for reduced time and cost when implementing new features, without having to write the code for the two apps (iOS and Android) separately–a key pain point for SMEs and new companies with a tight budget. Leveraging standardized tools, we improve the App’s architecture by keeping its original design, getting a seamless, consistent, cohesive user interface (UI) that delivers the best user experience (UX) no matter the platform where customers access your content.

Customer Outcome

Prospery application makes it easier to get financial help at the moment when sudden expenses occur without warning, just filling out the in-app form and following the steps.This application will be launched in Colombia in the second quarter of 2023 and will be available in the Apple and Google stores.

The app has also reduced costs for the company, working entirely remotely, representing a significant decrease in operational expenses, eliminating the use of paper in a high percentage. There has been an important reduction in time for data recording, collection, and inputting thanks to the automatic data collection. While, the app users don’t need to move from one place to another, avoiding transportation costs, long waits, and paperwork.
